Fortress Festival Style Guide 2018: Ft. Bailey Womack

While LA has Coachella and ATX has Austin City Limits, Fort Worth finally has something to call their own. With festival season right around the corner we couldn’t help but get very excited for this years Fortress Festival happening right in the middle of the Cultural District! Whether it’s your first time at Fortress Fest or you’re a returning music enthusiast, the biggest question you may have is… what exactly am I going to wear? Don’t worry girl we’re here to help fix that!

Of course we couldn’t do this alone, so what better way than to have a babe with an eye for fashion and cool girl style. We asked Bailey Womack not only style advice, but also a few tips to survive the festival. With just two looks Bailey is showing us how to style our newest arrivals in a major #sobeehive way!

Outfit 1:

Tell us a little bit about the outfit:

This outfit was so fun! I love mixing unexpected colors and prints. It was flirty and feminine and would definitely warrant some attention.

Describe the type of gal who would wear this:

This outfit is really bold, so the girl wearing this look would have to be outgoing and okay with some glances. She is fun and brings life with her anywhere she goes.

Favorite things about the look:

The color palette and the super girly-girl aspects of the look.

How would you incorporate the other pieces into your existing wardrobe:

Both pieces are so interchangeable with so many other types of garments! I would wear the top with some high rise jeans and heels and have a date night look, or wear the skirt with just a basic white tee and sneaker and be able to go to the park for a picnic! You could create so many unique outfits with just these garments!

Outfit 2:

Bailey is wearing our vacation palm print kimono with our vacation palm print top and vacation palm print shorts.

Tell us a little bit about the outfit:

I wanted to choose something comfortable for being outside all day in the heat but also super cute! This match-set was the perfect option because hello shorts and a tank you cannot go wrong + the pattern was giving me island vibes and made me feel like it was sweet, sweet summer.

Describe the type of gal who would wear this:

The girl wearing this look wants people to know that she is stylish but doesn’t necessarily want to be the center of attention. She is cool without trying too hard.

Favorite things about the look:

THE PATTERN IS TO DIE

How would you incorporate the other pieces into your existing wardrobe:

The tank could easily be worn with other shorts or denim, and the short could be worn with just a basic graphic tee.

What is your #1 music festival essential that you would recommend to those attending Fortress Fest for the first time?

SUNSCREEN. Even if you tan easily wear it. Your skin should always be protected that is so important. Also – all your best gal pals. 😉

Any music festival tips we should know about before the big weekend?

Stay hydrated throughout the day, you will need it to keep your energy up! Come prepared with a plan so that you don’t have to stress about it once you get there. Don’t forget to take photos, you can never have too many selfies! Haha

Who are you most excited to see perform at Fortress Fest 2018?
